Compartment 2 Empty Re: Compartment 2

Shae sighed heavily as her head rested on her fist; her eyes watched the passing hills as the train rolled down the track. For such a long ride it was surprisingly smooth traveling. Even though you couldn't read it off her face she had waited all summer just for school to start up again; and she was terribly excited. She once again barrowed her brother's school books and studied all summer, she always did this so she could be advanced in class. Though it gave her something to do rather than practice spells on her snake James.

The other child of the Nokes family was a different story all together.

Dax couldn't help but smile as him and another student chatted. He had spent all summer doing nothing but hanging out and playing Quidditch. Mainly he played with his cousins and even got his little sister Shae into playing. Who knew such a nerd would make such a good Keeper. Though now with school starting it was like he was being thrown into a cage with rules he had to follow and homework to write. It was nothing more than his nightmare. Though he wouldn't let that stuff get in the way of everything else. There were things to do, people to see, girls to chat with, and games to win.

"No seriously! My cousins and I came up with some great strategies. They would be perfect to use against Gryffendor this season.” Dax jumped up onto the seat of the cabin spreading his legs in between the two benches. “So its like this right? And all of a sudden out of know where the bluddger comes soaring over and I dodge to the left and then…” Before Dax could continue his frame by frame story of the event
his sister had kicked his foot off the back bench causing him to fall onto the ground flat on his face. “Would you stop being such a show off all the time! One of these days that mouth of yours is going to get you into real trouble.” She claimed then calmly went back to her absent stare out the window wondering when the libary would be open.

Dax got up and rubbed his nose, but let Shae slide. He was just happy she talked at all to him. He fixed his shirt and sat back down and started talking with his fellow classmate once again.
